Lori Ann Chambers-Kay

Lori lovingly known by family and close friends as “Sister Girl” or “City Girl” was born November 28th, 1965 in Dallas, Texas to parents: Theresa Ann Chambers and Louis James Chambers. She was BEAUTIFUL and was loved by all who knew her because of her sense of humor and her tell it like it is personality.

She attended and graduated from Transportation Magnet High School in 1984. She also attended cosmetology school. She married the love of her life, Boris Kay on September 24th, 1993 and later became a truck driver. They could become co-drivers and travel the county together for many years before they retired. She was a faithful and devoted wife until the Lord called her home.

She was preceded in death by her brother Preston “Peter” Chambers and is survived by her husband, Boris Kay, mother Theresa Chambers, father Louis Chambers, brother Marvin Chambers, brother Melvin Chambers, step daughters Kendra Kay, Tanesha Ellis-Overton, grandson Christopher McClellan, granddaughter Kelsi Franklin, favorite cousin Lesa Pitts Johnson, In-Laws, best friends Diann Morris-James, Phyllis Vaugh, and a host of extended family and friends that will miss her dearly.
