Madaline Ruth Barrow

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Barrow, her son, Steve Barrow, her grandson, Brian Bowman, her great-grandson, Wyatt Hester, her parents, Joseph & Cordelia Stapper and her sisters, Geraldine Splinter and Evangeline McShan.

She is survived by her children: Kathy Bowman (Keith), Aileen Rexroad (Lacy), Sherrill Hammon (Chris), Lynette Story (Davey), and Richard Barrow (Rosie). She was the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She loved her family and cherished every moment spent with them.

She also loved her church, her church family and faithfully attended Worship services, Sunday School, Triple L, Women on Mission to name a few. She served her church in several areas; she was the librarian, collected boxes for Samaritan’s purse, helped decorate the church for Christmas, served on several committees, etc.

She was known for her nurturing spirit, quiet strength, and grace. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and providing them with love and wisdom. Her deep faith and resilience were an inspiration to those who knew her.

A service to celebrate Madaline's life will be held on Monday January 27 at Cockrell Hill Baptist Church at 11:00am.

She will be missed by her family and friends, but we take comfort in knowing that she is in heaven safe in the arms of Jesus.
