

Lord and Savior on April 9, 2022. He was born September 19, 1931 in Hillsboro, TX to Carl and Captola Bolton. He is survived by Peggy, wife of 70 years and 8 months, and his children, Dana Jones of Whitehouse, TX, David & wife Kathy Bolton of Point TX, Denise & husband David Leverett of Point Tx, 11 Grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Mac served in Korea from 1951-1954 with the US Army heavy artillery battalion. Returning home, he and Peggy put roots down in Garland Tx where they raised their family. Shortly after returning from Korea, Mac worked for L. E. Davis Inc, later becoming Vice President. The company’s scope of work included many prominent Dallasites and companies, including the DeGolyer Estate @ the Dallas Arboretum. Mac’s master skills at mixing precise designer colors was greatly revered by numerous local decorators.
In later years he worked for R&D Painting and eventually began working for himself in 1997.
His knowledge and skills were implemented in serving many of the churches he attended.
In 1994 Mac and Peggy began their ministry in numerous countries sharing their love of the Gospel.
In 2019, due to failing health, Mac and Peggy retired from all occupations and international ministries and moved to Point, TX. In Point, Mac’s primary activities included lavishing attention on the dogs and making certain they had an abundance of bones.
Mac was a family man who loved deeply and was deeply loved. His love for his family was felt by all, especially in the times he was called upon to pray. Mac’s spiritual heart was so strong, that even when his mind and words were weak and spotted, he continued to pray with the strength of a warrior with amazing clarity.
Mac will be remembered as, Mackey, Honey, Dad, Daddy, Pop, Papaw & Honey Papaw………..
To his Heavenly Father he is known as “My Child”.

A funeral service for Malcolm will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 801 W. Avenue D, Garland, TX 75040. A graveside service will occur Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A visitation will occur Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, 801 W. Avenue D, Garland, TX 75040.
