

Margaret Willingham Hopkins, our beloved aunt, was born January 12,1921 in Dallas and passed away January 20, 2012, after an extended illness. She is preceded in death by the love of her life and best friend, King W. Hopkins, her parents, Wickliffe and Mary Willingham and her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Eleanor Willingham. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and long-time member of Grace Methodist Church, but in the last few years became a member of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church. She and King were great supporters of Children’s Medical Center and all the wonderful ways they help children. She will forever be remembered in our hearts for her loving and giving nature and her bright blue eyes that lit up a room. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Jackson (Jeannie) Willingham, Billy (Betty) Willingham, Eleanor Morton, Martha (Frank) Hart, Randy (Rosemary) Willingham and Bobby (Vicki) Willingham. Great-nieces and -nephews: David (Regina) Willingham, Melissa Hart, Trey (Andrea) Hart, Michael Morton, Brian Morton and Doug Willingham. Great-great nieces and nephews: Rhiannon Morton, Stella Hart, Henry Willingham, and cherished longtime caregiver, Patricia Akers, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at Sparkman Hillcrest Chapel at 2:00pm on Thursday January 26, 2012. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 6-8pm. Any memorials may be made to Children’s Medical Center, the SPCA or a charity of your choice.
