Maria del Carmen Cienfuegos, age 66, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025 in Dallas, Texas. She was born June 23, 1959 in Guerrero, Mexico to Nicolas Cienfuegos and Evangelina Anturez. In her spare time Maria enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, listening to music, and going for long walks. Her family and friends will always remember her as a strong, independent woman and mother. She was a fighter, who worked hard and always per her children first. She is survived by her children Honorio Perez, Maria Garcia, Ely Garcia, and Ruby Garcia; and her grandchildren Bella Montijo, Sophia Montijo, and Ely Jr. Garcia.
A celebration of life for Maria will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228, followed by a reception from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
