To know her was to love her. Mom was beautiful, caring, loving, classy, encouraging, thoughtful and genuine but most importantly she was truly selfless. She lived for her children and grandchildren. She knew all of her grandchildren’s favorite treats; and would stock up her pantry and fridge with the things she knew they loved. She even had front door delivery. Mom would sometimes call me and say“ I left the kids a bag on the porch”. I still wish I had that service.
She looked forward to her Tuesdays. That day was so special to her. My brother Adrian would pick her up, they’d drive to the ranch, feed the animals, have long talks and then stop somewhere to eat. She also looked forward to her breakfast dates with Marky and Andrew.. we knew not to interrupt this special time. Any little time she could spend with anyone of us, was so special to her.
Mom had a way of loving you that made you feel like you were her favorite. We all bickered about who was her favorite. We will never have to question what it feels like to be loved. She loved us from her core and we felt every ounce. We always bragged about her because till this day, we believe she’s the best mom ever and we believe there’s no one else like her. She was so perfect in every way.
Mom, we don’t want to let you go and we don’t want to live a day without you. We are holding on to each memory you gave us that is so special to us. We all thought we had at least 20 more years on this earth with you but we know God had another plan. We don’t understand why but we have to trust God. We promise to keep your legacy alive! We love you mom til we meet again. We are looking forward to that day.
Dear God,
Thank you for giving us the best you had! You must really love us. We pray God that she will forever feel our love and that she is happy now that she is with her mom. She missed her so much. We are forever grateful that you blessed us with her love. Thank you a million times!
