Marjorie Lewis, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 1, 2016, with her loving daughter and granddaughter by her side, and her son-in-law and grandson and nephew and his wife close by.
Margie was born and raised in Dallas and attended Adamson High School. She met and married Capt. Bob Lewis, USAF, in 1945 and lived a wonderful life as an Air Force wife, traveling around the US and making many lifelong friends that will miss her dearly.
She loved having parties and her home was a favorite gathering place for family and friends. Margie will be remembered with love and will be missed by her family and friends.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Col Robert S. Lewis, USAF, Retired, her parents, Ruth and Ray Coker, brother Marshall Coker and sister Doris Martin.
She is survived by her daughter Karen and her husband Jim Osier, grandchildren James and Sherry Osier, and a sister Betty Folse, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 9, 2016 at 12:00 pm at the Laurel Land Memorial Chapel.
