

Marshall was born on May 23, 1933, in Dallas, where he enjoyed growing up the youngest of six siblings. He started his career as a welder in 1951 and worked full time, up until the age of 83. Having originally started a welding business in the 1960’s with his brother, he went on to start another successful welding business and worked side by side with his son for over 30 years. Marshall was a longtime elder and deacon of the Cliffwood Church of Christ and was often described as gentle, generous, and Godly.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 8, 2021, at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, prior to the service. Jim Tenery will officiate, with an opening prayer delivered by Thomas Melton.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marion and Jessie Harrison, infant son Rickie Harrison, his brother T.N. Harrison, his sister Leola Bennett, his brother E.F. Harrison, his brother J.B. Harrison, and his sister Capitola Chance.
He is survived by his wife of almost 68 years, Margie Harrison, his daughter Patricia and husband Dan Howle of Emory, his son Michael and wife Kristy Harrison, his daughter Susan and husband Bobby Watts, along with seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
