Martha was my 2nd mom and  she said my daughter, Madison was her god- granddaughter. Madison and Martha had a special bond and talked on FaceTime  at least 3-4 times a week. I’m so thankful for Martha’s love and godly influence on my daughter. It was so important to her. 
She gave me motherly wisdom often too. 
She was a lady that modeled faith and I know the Lord told her well done good and faithful servant and gave her many crowns. I also think Martha set those crowns back at Jesus feet and praised him there as she did here. I will miss so more than words can express. I love you Christie and Leonard. I promised Martha I would help take care of you and intend on keeping that promise.

Sweet, precious Martha, how I will miss your beautiful, gentle smile and warm hugs. It was God's grace that brought you into my life as a dear friend, and it is God's grace that ensures I will see you again. I'll think of you often and treasure every moment of our friendship. I love you sweet Martha. I'll see you again my friend.

Martha is my classmate and friend from High School years at W. H. Adamson class of 1972.  After graduation, I would occasionally receive a call from Martha. She was always happy.  Recently, we met for lunch, along with another Classmate Deanna Venable, to share current events and High school memories as well.  We laughed and enjoyed one another's company.   Martha was always smiling and had amazing stories about her faith and her family values.  Martha was a dear friend; we are missing her now and will miss her in years to come.  She enjoyed being around cherished friends from elementary school through High school, in Oak Cliff.  Martha will always be an inspiration of her faith and friendship.   Lasting memories.

Martha was one that lit up a room and brought a smile to every situation that she encountered. I met Martha when I was 9 or 10 years old and learned very quickly that she was the one for my oldest brother, Leonard. I knew that they would spend their lives together through thick and thin, good times and bad. Martha had an understanding and a heart to serve those in need and would gladly do so at a moment’s notice. Martha and Leonard’s love for each other and to Christ was evident to all that knew them. They talked the talk and walked the walk that few can do. On October 7th, 2023, God called her from the temporal to her eternal home, in God’s presence where she’ll be forevermore. Martha has graduated and received the PROMOTION of a lifetime!! Congrats my sweet sister n law. Love Ronnie & Susi

To My sweet new friend.  I will miss your smile in Sonburst class and across the way in church.  It has been my great pleasure to have been able to know you even for such a short time.  But you be watching for me and after I meet our Saviour I will be looking for you with a donut for you cause I know that you will have a blueberry donut for me.

When I think of Martha,  I can see her smiling face, hear her sweet loving voice always offering love and support through Jesus Christ and bible teachings regardless of the circumstances.  She was not judgmental and had a loving heart.  She earned her place in Heaven with her exemplary Christ like behavior.  She was a role model to many in her family, her church family and people she encountered throughout her life.  She was always first to offer support and encouragement if anyone was ill, grieving or needed emotional support of any kind.  She and Leonard always lit up every room when they entered with their Love of Jesus Christ always radiating forth.   I will miss hearing them sing together.  The world has lost one of its Angels and Heaven gained a Saint.  She will be missed dearly.   We are all richer people for having her be a part of our lives.

Our family is very sad for the loss of our sweet, kind, loving, Martha.   
She will forever be in our hearts.  Martha was much loved by the entire Evans family!

I will miss my sweet sister-in-law so much.
 Some of my fondest memories of her are of our ‘road trips’.  Martha loved to get out and go.!!   Whether to Branson or across the border to Mexico;  I could always count on Martha.  She was so much fun, always had a smile on her face , a positive attitude, and a thankful heart!!    She was such a wonderful part of our family .

I’m so sorry for the loss of the love of your life, Martha. She was the sweetest, kindest, and most accepting person I’ve known.  I will always remember her beautiful smile and warm hugs whenever we met, no matter how much time had gone by.  I felt very loved by her, and I loved her very much. I love you and your family and have been holding you in my heart and prayers. 
May God hold you in the palm of His hand as you remember special memories of a lifetime of love.

Sweet Martha - she use to call me “my Penny”
I remember when she and Leonard were dating (I was very young then) but that group would come over to our house and laugh and play records and goof off.  My parents enjoyed having them all over.   Danny, Leonard, Martha and many others - fun group of good kids.  
The good ol days.  
The Evans family have always been special to me - all the way from Beacon to Kimball. 
Martha will be missed.   She always had a beautiful smile and a kind heart. ❤️

Martha, you left us too soon.  You had so many friends who TRULY loved you, that you would be near the top of the Richest Person list! I will always remember my first kiss with you...I never felt so much happiness and joy, and very rarely since!
You were always SO pretty at every you event....except for one.  We had a beach event and you showed up at Beacon without any makeup. Wow...that was a real eyeopener....
Martha, I'm going to miss you and don't worry, we'll take care of Leonard.
