

Mary Van Boxtel Daniels, 93, went to Our Lord on September 28, 2015, while visiting family in Wisconsin. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack, son, Jim and granddaughter, Dawn Dittlinger. Mary is survived by her daughter Jackie Dittlinger and husband, Tom; sisters, Betty Baeten and Carol Horn; brothers, Larry and Jim Van Boxtel; granddaughters, Julie Vrla and husband, Chris and Dana Klement, and husband, Cody; grandson, John Dittlinger and wife, Amanda; eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Though she was born and raised in Little Chute, Wisconsin, Mary spent the majority of her adult life in Dallas, Texas. She was a charter member of St. Monica Church, serving on many committees. Mary was also a member of Sparkman Community club, the Dallas Compatriots, Sparkman bridge groups, and several garden and book clubs. She loved to write and was awarded several trips, yet her greatest passion was her faith and family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father George Henninger on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Holy Family Chapel at St. Josephs Village 1205 E. Sandy Lake Rd., Coppell, Texas 75019. A Rosary will be recited before the service beginning at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Holy Family Chapel at St. Joseph’s Village, St. Monica School Endowment Fund or Ursuline Academy.
