Born on July 22, 1938 in Dallas, TX, returned to our Lord and Savior on December 2, 2010.She is survived by her daughters Diana Lee Rivera and husband Jose and Marisa Rene Rojas and husband Rudy and 10 grandchildren; Oscar, Angel, Melissa & Erica Marroquin and Gabriel, Amanda, Joseph, Thomas, Rudy & Samantha Rojas and 1 great-grandson, Mark Rojas. She is also survived by her brother Thomas Lopez, her sister Gloria Lopez, 3 nieces and 1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Lopez and Juanita Gutierrez Lopez. Mary touched the hearts of all who knew her and her heart was filled with so much love for so many, including her 2 little dogs. As a devout Catholic, Mary loved her church and until her health issues limited her physical abilities, she devoted many hours sewing baptismal garments and helping with the Christmas Angel program at St. Monica Catholic Church. As a patient at the Davita Dialysis Center, Mary made many friends and her family is grateful for the wonderful care she received from the doctors and nurses who cared for her. Her smile will be missed but never forgotten. Services will be held at St. Monica Catholic Church, 9933 Midway Rd., Dallas, TX 75229. Rosary will be held Tuesday, December 7th at 7:00pm and Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, December 8th at 10:00am.
