

Mary spent her primary years in Memphis, Texas. She graduated from Memphis High school and went to nursing school in Dallas, Texas and became an LVN. Aunt Louise/Granny as she was known by family and friends accepted Christ at an early age; after moving to Dallas in the early sixties she became a proud member of New Samaria Baptist church in Dallas, Texas where she served faithfully on the Usher board, Women Fellowship and Choir. She continued year Christian journey at Morning Glory Baptist Church which is now St. Andrews Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Anthony Cole; she served faithfully until passing.
Mary worked as an LVN at various hospitals and nursing homes in Dallas, Texas. She worked 28 years at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas, Texas until she retired. She enjoyed travelling with her family, shopping and helping out her neighbors on Hidden Trail.
Mary was preceded in death by her sister Lorene Wright and four brothers, Joe Wilhite, Jimmie Bradford, Mitchell Landers and Lonnie Landers; and one daughter Zenoblia Hubbard. She leaves to cherish her memories daughter Claudia Hubbard of Cedar Hill, Texas and son William Hubbard of Dallas, Texas. Three grandchildren Avraun Hubbard, Jasmine Peoples-Hubbard and Jessica Peoples-Hubbard. Four great grandchildren Jaylen Rivers, Jordan Rivers, Ayden Wright and Jaslyn Woods. One sister Pearlie Mae Johnson of Chandler, Texas and one brother Barnell Landers of Hereford, Texas. Two longtime friends Ms. Viola Black of Dallas, Texas and Ms. Melva Munson of Duncanville, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
