Mrs. Mary Lou (Jones) Webb

Sister Mary Lou (Jones) Webb was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jones born August 19, 1924. She attended Friendship Elementary School and Mrs. Warren was her first teacher. She graduated from Valleyview High School in 1941.

She joined the Friendship Baptist Church, Gilmer Tx. at an early age. She was an active member and assisted Sis. Warren with the B.T.U. and was president of the missionary society until she moved to Dallas. She later became the president of Missions at Second Chapel Baptist Church in Garland Tx later moving to down town Dallas area where she joined Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church and was a faithful member who taught bible lessons for the senior citizens ministry, .and the Naomi Missionary Circle.

She married Fred Webb in 1941 and to this union seven children were born: Her husband, Fred Webb and three sons proceeded her in death, Baby Webb died at birth, Gerald Mcgaughy Webb in 1954, Casta Webb in 2010.

She leaves to cherish her lasting memories a son, Fred (Wonda) Webb, daughters Betty Nelson, Rachael Price, Jeanette (Archie) Williams 14 grand kids, 26 great grand kids, 13 great-great grand kids, and 3 great-great-great grand kids and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
