Maxine Ann Edwards, 88, of Dallas passed away February 16, 2020. She was born March 2, 1931 in Spring Valley, MN and grew up in Calmar, IA. Maxine moved to Lubbock TX in 1954 where she met and married Fred Edwards on September 24, 1955. Maxine spent many years as a Teacher’s Aide for Special Needs Children and was always serving as a volunteer. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Edwards, son, John Edwards, grandsons, Aaron Edwards and Nathaniel Edwards. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Marie Rich; grandsons, Stephen Rich, Sean Hunley, Ryan Edwards; great-grandson, Ethan Edwards; as well as many nephews, nieces and a host of friends. Visitation will be 6-8pm on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be 10:30am on Friday, February 21, 2020 at St. Pius X Catholic Church followed Mass at 11:00am with Rev. Patrick Olaleye, Celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Hill Cemetery.
