Melissa Lynn Engleman

Melissa Engleman, 48, of Dallas passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 in her home in Dallas, TX. She will always be remembered as a loving, mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt and friend to all that knew and loved her.

She was born in Houston, Texas on March 13, 1967 to Marilyn and Neil Arbegast. She attended Texas Christian University and received her masters degree at the University of Houston. She then worked as an exercise physiologist until she met and married the love of her life in 1996. Melissa’s greatest role was as a mother and she loved her 3 children more than life itself. She enjoyed playing soccer and tennis and spending time with her many friends

She is survived by her husband Dr. David Engleman and her children Houston, Avery, and Reagan, parents Dr. Neil And Marilyn Arbegast, sister Michele Hobbs and husband Michael, children Adie and Connor, sister Ann White and husband Jim, children Jack and Parker, brother Duane Arbegast, daughter Samantha, and brother Fred Arbegast, sons Gus and Harry .

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8017 Preston Road, Dallas, TX 75225 with Msgr Donald Zimmerman celebrant. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Chapel, Dallas Texas and a prayer vigil will follow at 7:00 pm.
