Melvin Lynell Boyd was born December 28, 1984 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the parentage of Melvin Allen and Marilyn Boyd Langston. “Nell” as he was affectionately called, peacefully transitioned to God on July 22, 2014 in Dallas, Texas.
Nell attended and graduated from Tara High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on May 27, 2007. Most recently, he enjoyed attending Town Hall Adult Daycare Center where he enjoyed a variety of activities. Nell was a member of Concord Church of Dallas.
Nell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Curtis and Linnie Allen, James and Jerolyn Boyd, an Uncle Kelvin Allen, two aunts Muriel and Jerolyn Boyd. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted mother Marilyn Boyd Langston, father Melvin Allen, brothers DeMarcus(Jessica), Michael(Donnie), sisters Latasha Evans, Melodie(Jeremy) Gafford, MelNeisha(Damarcus) Williams, Travanna Jones, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts , uncles and a host of other relatives and family friends.
