Michael Ray Jones, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 in Klondike, Texas. Michael was born on September 7, 1947 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Fred and Marian Jones. Michael was raised in Delta County, Colorado and graduated from Wasson High Colorado Springs in 1965.
He married Gloria Ruth Jones in 2006 and the couple had 1 child. His stepdaughter, Amber Ruth Solchenberger is a school bus driver in Sanger, Texas where she has worked for more than 14 years.
In his spare time, Michael enjoyed reading the bible, visiting friends, listening to music, worshiping Yeshua, traveling and flying. His friends and family will always remember him as a faithful friend, flight attendant for Delta Airlines helping many passengers, and worked as a sheet metal worker.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Marian and his brother Donnie.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Ruth Jones; stepdaughter, Amber Ruth Solchenberger (Joel); grandson, Isaac Anthony Solchenberger; granddaughter, Alexis Ruchelle Solchenberger; and numerous cousins.
