Michael Deshawn Patterson

Our loving son, brother and friend has gone to be with our lord. Michael Deshawn Patterson was born on March 4, 1974, in Vernon, Texas at Wilbarger County Hospital to the parents of Kain Perry and JoAnn Burns Patterson. Michael is being laid to rest on March 20, 2024, at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.

Michael spent many of his younger years in Vernon, Texas before the Patterson family moved to Irving, Texas. While in Irving, Michael attended Irving High School before finishing his studies at Job Corp Oklahoma gaining expertise in Architecture and Construction. He would later join and spend 8 years in the Navy. After returning home, he spent majority of his adulthood in transportation driving semi-truck from coast to coast.

Michael was an avid lover of working with his hands, fishing, and motorcycles. He enjoyed the open wind and the beautiful scenery across the states. He was a son with everlasting strength and a spirit that glows with the stars above. He has left us with the blessings of his smile and humbleness. He will be missed for his courage, commitment to family and genuine joyfulness. He has taught us to never forget the importance of family.

Michael is survived by his mother, JoAnn Burns Patterson, brothers, Perry Joe Patterson and Marcus Tremaine Patterson and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loves him.
