I’m just stunned! Because I’m old, I seem to spend a lot of time in the past.  Tonight 
I was just wondering what had happened to the band from Mona Luna, did a Google search for a couple of names
and his obituary popped up! I
met Morris  when he was in the house band at Farfellows in 1996. I loved his musical talent and I loved the fact that he was an all around nice guy. Not too long after I met him, the band moved across 
635 to Mona Luna, they were a well 
loved house band....after Mona Luna closed I lost touch with the band, but not of the memories they were a part of. 
Although the thought is very late, 
Godspeed Morris. 
 

Mo and I were roommates in the 90's. For a man so full of talent, he was strangely quiet. When you turned up the lights and gave him a stage, all that changed. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. We played a lot of music together. All my best to Sonia and Adam and all who must now carry that burden of loss. He would be happy to know that he rests a stones throw from Stevie Ray... Mabye he does.

My goodness, how sad.  I played in some bands with Morris back in the mid 80's and was just thinking about him the other day.  I just googled him to see his whereabouts and found this.  My condolences.  

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Worked with Morris in the cable tv business in Irving. Saw him last in Nashville.

I knew Morris in the mid 90s....he was a gifted musician and a caring and sensitive friend.  The world isn't the same without him.  My deepest sympathy to his family.

I worked with Morris few a few years. We shared a great love for the Beatles. I wish I would have kept in touch. RIP brother.

We were friends in grade school.  So sad to here of him passing.

I just found this on the internet. I cannot believe Morris has left us. He is now in Heaven with my sister, Emie. We all knew each other when he played in a band before Stallion. I kept up with him for years. He is a wonderful musician and person. I miss him and will never forget him. Hope Adam is doing ok.

I can't believe I am just now hearing of this. Mo was my roommate for a time. He was a kind and gentle man with music in his soul. We played a lot of music together while our kids, Adam and Sean, destroyed the house playing Power Rangers. How did this happen? Adam, I miss him too.

We have just learned of Morris's passing we are filled with great sorrow.  We had tried to keep up with him and lost touch. Will never forget   Maurice, Wes, Les, Kevin, Mike and Morris of course with the band "Ginger"!  He was in our wedding June 21, 1975!  He was a wonderful person and so young, very talented, sweet and gentle! Morris wish we could have found you again in another way

Almost a year now and I still can't believe it.   I miss you terribly!

I moved from a ranch in So. Texas where my graduation class was less than 100 people and the town less than 5000 to Irving where my real parents lived and our graduating class was over 2000.  The first person to become my friend was Morris,  He came to our home to study and rehearse for class projects etc.  While I was outgoing and popular right away, I never could figure out how someone like Morris would be my friend.  He was so handsome and all the girls were in love with him.  He was so kind to everyone.  He was smart and he was quiet.  He was happy to let others have the limelight and shine.  He was so heavy on my mind today (I hadn't thought of him in years).  I decided to try and look him up and was shocked to see an obituary about my friend.  I am stunned and my heart is broken.  His kind and compassionate heart made me feel like I belonged when I needed a friend.  Knowing him changed my life.  We lost track of each other but you always had an important place in my heart,  Thank you Morris.

My own deceased father was also a man of very few words.  He always had his head tilted down resting it on his hand.  In hopes that people would just keep moving by.   He first met Morris at one of our Christmas Dinners.  By the end of the day my father said to me "I sure do like that fellow with Sonia, He dont talk much and I like that".  Possibly the only words he spoke that whole day.  I would like to think they are sitting around whiddling...maybe a little harmonica....guitar....a good boxing match and a great cowboy game.
Maybe partaking?....,  I'm just saying..........

My deepest sympathy to the Rose Family. I knew Morris when he was young and played in the band with my son Michael. I loved his sweet soft voice and he was so very handsome. Ken--I am so sorry for the lose of your Uncle. I think about you so often. I just heard about Morris's passing last night and was so shocked to hear the news. May God be with the Rose Family at this time.

I've only just learned of Morris' passing.  I'm in shock.  Morris lives so strongly in my memories.  He is such a gentle presence.  He was a lovely, beautiful person and he made such an impact on my life.  Even as a teenager, he had such an old soul.  I always thought we'd have that deep conversation again where he would listen so intently and we'd share stories of lives and familiesâ€¦I'm so sad that it will never happen again.  I wish peace for all of his family and those he held dear.

From the moment I discovered Morris's passing, I've been in disbelief, at a loss for words.
My deepest sympathy for the Rose family.  Morris was a true gentleman.  A gifted soul.

Morris and I have many great memories together and I have always treasured them.  His voice was always so soft and kind and he was never one quick to anger.
He could absolutely light up the entire room when he walked in.  
He will forever hold a special place in my heart and I will never forget him.  Such a special person and I can't wait to see him again in heaven.

So sorry to hear about Morris. We were in "Stallion" together in the 1980s. I had lost track of him after he left, but I often wondered what happened to him. Sad that I find out only now.  My deepest sympathy to the family.  Moriris was a thoughtful and talented man, and I'm proud to have known him.

I am so saddened by the loss of Morris!  He was absolutely one of the kindest, most beautiful souls.  Such memories I have ... And oh yes, what a crush I had on him!!!  Much love to him and all who loved him.  Rest in peace my beautiful friend.

Morris lived across the street when in jr high and high school.  I thought the world of him.  He taught me to drive a 3 speed on the column in that Maverick he had for awhile. I have wondered about him from time to time.  Now I will remember him the way we were and miss him for the friend he was.  Rest in peace.
