He was a Fire Fighter for The Dallas Fire Department for 38 years. He was also a business man owning his own small electrical contracting business for 30 years.
Charles Gibbs was married to the love of his life Shirley Gibbs for 44 years and he has two wonderful children and one grandchild Stephanie Charles Jr and Cooper Gibbs.
To cherish his legacy, he leaves his wife, children, grandchildren, brother Walter, sister Georgia and many nieces and nephews .
He was a wonderful man that had a passion for fishing, crossword puzzles and many trades and talents that impacted the lives of many people whether it was family members, co workers, and common people of all walks of life. He will be missed but never forgotten.
