Myrtice “Misty” Denman-Wilson passed away peacefully on October 26, 2017 at the age of 79. She was born in Dallas, TX on January 25, 1938 to mother, Neta Denman and father, Claude Denman. She graduated from Adamson High School and then started her business career, owning small dress shops and later entered into the hotel businesses. She would set up shops in the hotel and became quite good at it. She later moved to Sherman where she began owning and operating hotels in the area. She is survived by her brother, Robert Denman and her sisters Mable Foster and Anna Zeller. She is preceded in death by her mother, Neta Denman, her father, Claude Denman, and her sisters, Claudine Thomas and Thelma Porter. She loved casinos, horse racing, enjoyed watching sports, particularly the sport of football and was an avid fan of her beloved Dallas Cowboys. Services will be at Laurel Land Funeral Home on Monday, October 30 at 2pm. There will be a viewing on Sunday, October 29 at 5-7pm.
