Nancy Marie Callaway was born in Dallas, TX on November 28, 1929 to parents Curtis and Frances Hixson and passed away on February 5, 2015. She graduated from Forest High School in 1947 and worked as a data processor for many years. Nancy was an avid reader, who loved reading murder mysteries. She was a fan of the Dallas Mavericks and the Texas Rangers. Nancy had a kind heart for all animals, especially her cat and chicken. She enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her family, and will be greatly missed by everyone. Nancy is survived by her two children John D. Callaway and wife Jan, and Clay Callaway and wife Elizabeth; grandson David Callaway and his wife Terry; great grandsons John Dustin Callaway, Mark Andrew Callaway, and Shawn Nathan Callaway, and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Acy Callaway. The family will have a visitation on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 6-8pm and funeral services will be Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 2pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
