Narciso worked at KPMG for 12 years as Lead Coordinator of Operation Services. He was a loyal and dedicated employee who enjoyed and appreciated his work and his co-workers. Giving back to the community was a high priority in his life. Narciso volunteered with various organizations supported by his employer. These included KFFL-KPMG’s Family for Literacy (helping low-income children to get books in their home); and Living Green Week (clean-up volunteer project at Cole Park). Narciso had an eye for photography and under the direction of Manny Fernandez, KPMG-Dallas Managing Partner, was able to apply his skills in this hobby as KPMG’s unofficial/official photographer for company events.
Narciso was equally dedicated to his faith, family and hobbies. He was member of St. Monica Catholic Church and enjoyed the annual family tradition of a Rosary Prayer Walk through Calvary Hill Cemetery in honor of deceased family/friends. Narciso had many hobbies and pastimes that he enjoyed immensely. He was avid sports fan, especially of the Dallas Cowboys, and liked playing basketball. In addition to photography, he had a love for music and enjoyed planning events to share time with family and friends be it barbequing or casual gatherings. It seemed Narciso had some kind of activity planned for nearly every month of the year. Making memories and capturing them in photos was very special to him as he knew life was a gift and precious.
When Narciso was diagnosed in 2005 with Multiple Myeloma, cancer of the bone marrow, he made a special effort to live every day to the fullest. The most important part of his life was spending quality time with his family. He spent endless days putting together photos, music and prayers for his family. He fought a long and hard battle against his illness but always with a smile and never a complaint. Narciso fought till the end leaving his family with a legacy of love, faith, sharing, laughter, and the importance of togetherness. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
