Thomas Neville Frazier, known to all as Neville, passed away suddenly on December 28, 2014, which marked his 44th wedding anniversary. He was born on February 11, 1940 in Dyersburg, Tennessee. He spent his early childhood in Tennessee and Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The family moved to Laurel, Mississippi where he graduated from high school in 1958. Neville and his younger brother, Kermit, enlisted in the Navy and went on active duty together on the same day – June 15, 1960. Upon completion of their active duty at separate stations, they met up and rode the train home together. Neville returned home to Laurel but not for long. He enrolled in Mississippi State University and went from living on the Naval Submarine Base in New London to living in a dormitory. Neville and Kermit moved to Dallas together to enroll in technical school in the summer of 1963 when Neville began working at Western Union in operations and quickly advanced to a management position. Later, when he was informed that his position was to be moved out-of-state, in order to remain in Dallas, he passed the test to take a position within the engineering department, thus leaving management. From there, he became a systems analyst on a state-of-the-art computer system. In 1998, he retired from AT&T where, ironically, he had first applied for a job back in 1963 upon arriving in Dallas. Since retiring, he realized a long-time dream to play a musical instrument by taking up the violin and the hand bells in his church choir. Aside from his music pastime, he pursued his interests in technology, science and general tinkering in his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlotte Bertha Neville and Frank Kermit Frazier, Sr. Neville is survived by his wife, Patricia Woodell Frazier; their children: Terri and husband Fred Blaine Stillwell, Kathy and husband Frank Busby, David Frazier and wife Denise, Christy and husband Cody Sears, and Matthew Frazier; their grandchildren: Cory and wife Rachel Lewis, Brian Busby and wife Lara Burns, Michael Busby, Devon Frazier, Donavon Frazier, Dayne Frazier, Drake Frazier, Ryan Sears, and Dylan Sears; and their great-grandchildren: Alexa and Avery Lewis, and Jack and Ben Busby. He is also survived by his brother, Frank Kermit Frazier, Jr. and wife Ann, along with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Neville and Patricia were long-time travel companions with Patricia’s sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Dennis Lord, and Neville will be missed by the entire Lord family. Extended family members include sister-in-law Nancy Woodell and her children, Carol Love and her children, and nephew Neville Glenn Mason. All services to take place on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9643 Ferndale Rd, Dallas 75238. Visitation: 9:30am – 10:30am; Rosary: 10:30am; Funeral Mass: 11:00am.
