Nicole was born in Gatesville to John Richardson and Tami Lynn French Richardson (deceased). She graduated in 2002 from Community High School in Nevada, Texas, and attended Collin County Community College, studying business and math, hoping to become a CPA.
A cherished daughter, sister, niece, aunt, and friend, Nicole got along with everyone and touched the hearts of many with her smile, kindness and gentle heart. She loved kids and animals, especially her “baby” Sadie, a miniature schnauzer. She always wanted a family; she wanted to be, and would have been, a wonderful mother.
Nicole is part of a large family and they were first in her life: her seven sisters were her salvation and her father John was her rock. She will be laid to rest beside her mother Tami, who passed when Nicole was 4 years old and loved Nicole dearly.
She excelled at creative endeavors, like drawing, scrapbooking and DIY projects. A self-described movie fanatic, Nicole could recite quotes from her favorite ones. She was also passionate about music and photography.
Nicole is survived by her father, John Richardson, of Dumas, and her seven sisters: Jenny Menez, of Mansfield; Becky Richardson, of Arlington; Rene Witghtman, of Rockwall; Christin Rudd, of Lafayette, Louisiana; Ashley Richardson, of Addison; Emily Richardson, of Rockwall; and Chloe Richardson, of Rockwall; as well as five nieces and nephews and countless friends.
A visitation will be held at Grove Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 3920 Samuell Blvd., Dallas, TX 75228, from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 9. at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the American Cancer Society. Nicole rarely stressed about anything, and was known to often say, “It’s all good.” Her selfless spirit and loving nature will never be forgotten.
