Norma Jean Johnston, age 86, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2020. She was born in Mount Vernon, Texas on October 11, 1933 to Holley and Lealua Campbell. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and is survived by her two children Mike Hampton and Stephanie Hampton along with five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Wanda Mahaffey.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 S. R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75232.
