Olga Martinez

Olga Longoria Martinez, of McAllen, Texas, passed away on December 10, 2025, in Rockwall, Texas. She will always be remembered as a mother and friend to all that knew and loved her.

She was born on January 27, 1934, in McAllen, Texas, to Sostenes and Eva Longoria. Olga was a hard-working mother and was always proud to say that she retired from Safeway after many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was very involved with her church. She also loved to travel with her late husband Rosendo “Roy” Martinez and friends and was always grateful that she was able to travel all over the world.

Olga is survived by her sons, Gregory Miramontes, Samuel Miramontes and Rosendo Martinez, Jr.; daughters-in-law, Esther Miramontes and Sofia Martinez; her grandchildren, Gregory (Nathan) Miramontes, Naomi Ford and husband Brandon, Jacob Miramontes and wife Malori, Roy Kaleb Martinez, Joseph Martinez, Abram Miramontes, and Carlos Lozada and wife Jackie; her great-grandchildren, Payton Miramontes, Allisyn Miramontes, Astrid Martinez, Poppy Faye Miramontes and Jonathan, and Olivia Lozada.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rosendo Martinez, Sr.; daughter, Raquel Martinez; and grandson, Alfonso Miguel Martinez; sister, Francis Longoria; and brothers, Hector and Mario Longoria.

A visitation will be held from 4-6 o’clock p.m. on Sunday, December 14; The Funeral Service will be held at 1 o’clock p.m. on Monday, December 15, both at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
