

Oralia Pruneda Gaytan, 81, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2020, with her children by her side in Dallas, Texas. Oralia was born in New Braunfels, Texas on October 3rd, 1939. She moved to Dallas, Texas with her family in 1963 where she began a career in Tailoring & alterations. Her expertise in tailoring was exceptional. She began her career at Edgefield Fashions, and moved on to work with several companies such as, Reynolds Penland, Chanel, Calvin Klein, & Stanley Korshak. After a fourteen-year retirement, she joined her son Orlando Morales at the Tailor Shop Dallas. She worked alongside her son for seven years.
Oralia loved music & dancing, but her greatest joy was her loving family. She especially looked forward to the Holiday Season, knowing she would be surrounded by those she loved most, her children and grandchildren. Her beautiful smile and cheerful disposition brightened the spirits of everyone around her. Oralia loved the Lord, she didn’t doubt, she didn’t worry, she had faith in her God who was and will be forever faithful.
Those who preceded in her death were her loving parents Luis & Celestina Pruneda, her husband Jesse Gaytan, Sister Celida Gomez, Brothers, Armando, Ramiro, & Fernando Pruneda. Oralia is survived by her children, John C. Morales Jr., Oscar Morales and his wife Virginia, Orlando Morales and his wife Elizabeth, daughter Adalia Wilson and her husband Rodney Wilson.
Grandchildren: Sabrina Gray (Jason), Ozzie Morales (Belinda), Orlando Desi Morales, Jesse Martinez II (Melody), Orlando Morales II (Melissa), Matthew Morales (Courtney), Isiah Morales.
Great grandchildren: Oscar O Morales II, Zacharias Morales, Desirae Morales, Matthew Morales II, Athena Lana Morales, Gracie Allsop, Orlando Morales III, Modestie Martinez, Jesse Martinez III, Eli Martinez, Cruz Martinez
Brothers & Sisters: Evangelina Villanueva, Dora Lopez, Luis “Sonny” Pruneda, Rodger Pruneda
And numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.
The family believes that when someone passes, their life does not end but rather changes. We know Oralia has reached a place of everlasting peace alongside Jesus Christ.
While we grieve her passing, with grief comes the lightness of hope.
