

Patricia Ann Spears was born on March 04, 1949, in Dallas Texas to the parentage of Rev William Eddi and Jewel Mae Spears. She received her formal education throughout the Dallas Independent School District. Graduating from L.G Pinkston High School. She continued her education by attending Dallas Institute of Funeral Service.
Patricia was a very intelligent and a determined businesswoman. She was also a very outspoken community activist, as well. She worked in the funeral industry for over for 40 years as a Funeral Director, floral and pre-need specialist, while working for both the family business Spears Mortuary and other industry leaders. However, Patricia was born to work with the community. She was appointed to multiple committees and community boards; she led the way with the RSR Lead Smelting Plant clean up and many others.
The Lord called home on July 20, 2022. He called Patricia Spears by name, and she transitioned into eternity. She is reunited with her father, Rev. William E. Spears, Mother Jewel M. Spears, Grandmother, Viola B. Davis, Sister Melba Spears and Niece Monique Spears.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memory Sisters, Yvonda Spears-Jackson (Darrell), Sandra Spears, Marvia Spears-Polk (Polky), Sons; Patrick Demings (Letitia), Aric Demings, Daughters; Lisa Demings-Johnson (Curtis), Demetria Demings, Grandchildren; Brandon Demings, Tatiana Demings, (Lil) Aric Demings, Deorsay Powell, Precious Averett, Kateland Averett, Terrence Averett, Destani Williams, Micah Demings, Curtis Johnson Jr, Zariyah Johnson, and Lametria Hill.
Great-Grandchildren; Tru' Hubbard, Tristyn Hubbard, Avionna Lee and Addyson Lee.
