Patsy Caroline Moore

Patsy “Pat” Caroline Moore, 90, of Mesquite, Texas passed away on February 5, 2025.

Patsy was born in Dallas, Texas on March 4, 1934, to Patrick James and Blanche Caroline (Harris) Phillips. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, Texas. Patsy was married to H. D. “Donnie” Moore on September 24, 1955; they were married 56 years.

Patsy worked as a bookkeeper for Baylor Hospital and later for a private CPA office. She enjoyed dancing, needlework and reading. She was also involved in Daughters of the Nile, Order of the Eastern Star and served as the First Lady of Hella Shrine in 2000.

Patsy is preceded in death by her husband; son, Philip Donovan Moore; her parents, and brother Joe and his wife Billie Harris.

Patsy is survived by her granddaughter, Taryn Leigh Moore, great-grandson Jackson Wyatt Moore, and daughter-in-law Bonita Barnes Moore.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuel Blvd, Dallas, Texas. Services will be on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, 10:00 AM at Grove Hill with Pastor Larry Williams officiating. Following a reception, committal will be at DFW National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
