Patsy Sue Sumler

Mrs. Patsy "Pat" Conner Sumler was born on October 22, 1938 in Dallas, Texas to Monroe and Pearl Conner. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1956. She married and divorced twice. She worked for such companies of Haggar Slacks and Texas Instrument in her younger adult life. She worked as a Cashier at Webbs Grocery in South Dallas. She was a single mother of 7, 4 girls 3 boys. Before retiring at the age of 67 she worked as a cashier at Rhoton’s Grocery Store. She was a hardworking and private person who provided for and loved her family.

Patsy in her early years of life was a member of New Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist church in South Dallas. She later became a member of Antioch Fellowship Missionayy Baptist Church in Dallas.

Patsy died peacefully at home on June 7, 2024 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 85. She is preceded in death by Father Monroe Conner, Mother Pearl Conner, brothers: Estus Curry California, James Curry California, Herman Curry Texas and Marvin Curry Texas, Sisters: Florence Roe of Texas and Dorothy Lewis of Texas and one grandson Aundrayess Booker of Texas.

Patsy is survived by a sister Betty Paul and her children, Shouneille Booker Dallas, TX., Marcuse Booker Garland, TX., David Booker California, Felecia Booker Dallas, TX., Pamela Booker Garland, TX., Deadra Lee Grand Prairie, TX., and Michael Booker Dallas, TX., 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
