Gonzalez, Paula Molina. Age 90 passed away on Saturday August 8, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Alberto Gonzalez, daughter Enriqueta Gonzalez and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Flotte Gonzalez. Paula was born in Evansville, Texas on November 11, 1924 to Desiderio Molina and Francisca Castro. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Maria Orozco, Amalia Verver, Otilia Delgado, Jesusita Garcia and Velia Molina. After Paula and Alberto moved to Dallas from Laredo, she worked at a dress manufacturing company setting dress patterns. She retired early to be a housewife and help Alberto manage the many real estate properties that they acquired over the years. Paula and Alberto also helped their sons, Albert and Frank, found Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory. She is survived by her three children: Mary DeLeon (husband Joe), Albert Gonzalez (wife Frances) and Frank Gonzalez (wife Juanita). Paula’s 8 grandchildren are Julie D. Ezar (husband Eric), Jeff DeLeon (wife Raquel), Albert A. Gonzalez (wife Teresa), Elisa Cordova- Long (husband Kenneth), Agustin F. Gonzalez (wife Franchesca), Ana Laura Gonzalez, Rebeca Margarita Gonzalez-Rocha (husband Carlos) and Emiliano D. Gonzalez. She was also survived by her 14 great-children: Emily, Eric Joe and Jillian Ezar. Sofia and Lucas DeLeon. Albert Michael and Gabriela Gonzalez. Antonia Soto. Also, Nicolas, Vladimir and Nelson Gonzalez. Carlos Fernando, Alma Josefina and Francisco Alberto Rocha. In addition, she is survived by her sister, Olivia Montemayor and her only brother, Julian Molina. Paula and her family were very thankful for the many years of care provided by her caretakers: Ismael (Mel) Rincon, Olga Morales (her niece), Patricia Garcia, Juanita Garcia, Mandy Alonzo and her primary care physician, Dr. Luis Palacios. Her rosary will be held at 7pm Tuesday at the Gonzalez Funeral Home. Her funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 2pm at the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe 2215 Ross Ave. Dallas. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
