

Pauline Bramlette,93, passed away on September 12, 2010 following a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born December 12, 1916 in Texarkana, AR to Dana Bass Bramlette and Lawrence Miller Bramlette. Reared in Longview, TX, she graduated from Longview High School and then attended the University of Arkansas where she became a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. On July 28, 1937 she married Conan Westmoreland Cantwell, who became a practicing oil and gas attorney with the law firm of Jackson Walker, Winstead, Cantwell and Miller. Noted for her natural beauty, style, intelligence, and reserved demeanor, Pauline devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a former member of the Browning Club, Brook Hollow Golf Club, and served on the St. Michael and all Angels Church Altar Guild. She enjoyed spending her summers at Chautauqua Park in Boulder, Colorado with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Conan Cantwell, her daughter, Carolyn Cantwell Lewis; grandson, James Miller Lewis; sister, Dana Mondrik and brothers, Jack Bramlette and Lawrence Bramlette. She is survived by her children, Lawrence Bramlette Cantwell, Nancy Cantwell, Conan W. Cantwell and his wife Nancy; former son-in-law, George Ray Lewis; grandchildren, Jack Davis Sides, III, Mary Katharine Sides, Dorothy Lewis of Ft. Collins, CO, Amy Cantwell Gitchell and Carolyn Christine Cantwell of Brainerd, MN and eight great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010 at St. Michael and all Angels Chapel, 8011 Douglas Ave., Dallas, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
