Pebbles Stegman Murrell, 51, passed away peacefully after a long, courageous battle with cancer on January 11, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, at 12:00 PM at Laurel Land in Dallas. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 10AM-12PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of East Texas or a hospice facility of your choice. Pebbles was a longtime resident of Dallas, TX. She grew up in the Oak Cliff area and attended Sunset High School where she proudly displayed her “Bison Spirit” as a cheerleader. After High School, Pebbles found her calling and a rewarding career as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant). She had a big heart and loved helping others. Pebbles was a devoted mother and enjoyed spending time with her sons and cheering for the Cowboys. Pebbles was preceded in death by her father, Freddie Stegman whom she always called “her hero,” and mother, Georgia Diane Braswell Those left to cherish her memory are: her husband, Joe Murrell; sons: Joseph Murrell and Jacob Murrell; grandchildren: Joseph Murrell Jr., Julissa Murrell, and Jordan Valentine; 5 sisters; 4 brothers; mother, Anna Stegman and many other loving family and friends.
