She was called home on February 18, 2023.
She graduated from Quitman High School at the young age of 16 and attended Jarvis Christian College to continue her education. Afterward, she moved to Dallas and met John K. Greer, who proceeded her in passing. The two united as one in December of 1966. In 1967, they purchased their dream, where Peggy enjoyed yard work and her garden.
She spent 20 working for Dallas Independent School District. At DISD, she loved helping kids in study hall until she retired from Hillcrest High School. After retirement, she spent more time fishing and outdoors
activities with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her 5 sisters and her 4 brothers.
She is survived by her son Change Greer, her niece Johnetta Ellis and her children (Corey, Angela and Lia) and grandchildren (Monta and Karmen) who she asked about daily and a whole host of loved cousins.
