

He attended W.H. Adamson High School and Texas Tech University. He married his high school sweetheart, Jeanine Springer Coleman, in 1950.
He was a lifelong Christian, very active in choir and Sunday School at First Baptist Church in Irving. He loved to snow ski and enjoyed boating, scuba diving, and chronicling his family in pictures. He served in the Texas National Guard and was a very proud patriot.
Ralph was always fascinated with aviation and spent his career as an aerospace engineer working on military, rocket and commercial aircraft. He shared his love for flight with his children and grandchildren, building model airplanes and flying paper planes with them, and taking them to air shows. He was proud that his son, Russell, chose a career in aviation as well.
Ralph was a devoted husband to Jeanine for 57 years until her death in 2007. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Ralph Coleman, his mother, Mallie Ada Little Coleman, his sister, Ritha Coleman Bateman, and his second wife, Glenda Fulmer-Coleman.
He was a deeply loving family man. He is survived by his daughter Donna, his son Russell and daughter-in-law Cindy, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two nieces and their children and grandchildren
