He was born in Dallas, Texas on May 23, 1934. Raymond graduated from Forest Avenue High School. He worked as a baker at the Baker Hotel and The Summit Hotel.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Palma and brother-in-law Adam Palma Sr., nephew, Adam Palma Jr. and niece Chris Palma Browning, great-nephews, Michael Palma, Ricky Browning and James Browning, great grandnephew, Richard William Browning.
