Richard is survived by his daughter Cheryl Fleming and her husband Pete of Memphis, TN, 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 50 years, Doris, his son Brian and daughter Donna.
Richard served his Country in the Navy during World War II, serving in the South Pacific. He later worked and retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier in Dallas. Richard was a wonderful husband and father who worked hard for his family, all of whom will miss him greatly.
Graveside Service and Interment were held at Grove Hill Memorial Park on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 10 AM with Pastor George Baker officiating.
