Born January 9, 1920 in Mineral Wells, Tx and died October 6, 2011 in Dallas at age 91. He was retired from Cabell’s Dairy. Active member of Knights of Columbus Council 799 and PGK Council 4370, Fr. Abram J. Ryan Assembly, 4’th degree, Dallas Elks Lodge 71 and the Toastmasters Club. Lifelong active member of his church. Survived by wife of 70 years, Anne R. Hale; daughter, Bobbyeann Wilson & husband, Lanier; sons, Robert L. Hale, Jr. & wife, Janet, Thomas N. Hale & wife, Catherine and James A. Hale; grandchildren, Patrick, Tiffany, Amelia and Elliot, great-grandchildren, Luke & Seth and by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 6-8 PM with a rosary at 7PM at the funeral home. Funeral Mass 11AM Monday, October 10, 2011 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 8131 Military Parkway in Dallas, Rev. Loyd D. Morris, celebrant. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett.
