Robert Levinson passed away on May 24, 2021, in Boca Raton, FL. Born in Montreal, Canada, on June 3, 1939, Bobby - as he was known to many - was joyful, generous and relentlessly entrepreneurial. Uncommonly charismatic, Bobby made an impression on everyone he met, and lived to help others. Bobby married Naomi Shkarofsky in 1966 after meeting her at a BBYO camp in Starlight, PA. Together they created a beautiful family and a successful business. Bobby, a proud graduate of Baron Byng High School, a certified Master Beautician and self-taught businessman, founded Dynasel Corporation, a plastic packaging company, soon after relocating to Dallas, TX, in 1979. His natural people skills were honed during his years as International President of B’nai Brith Young Adults and apprenticing alongside his father in his many business ventures. Bobby was very proud to be Jewish, and was always eager to support Jewish causes, and help a fellow Jew in need. He was conversant in Yiddish, as well as French and English. Bobby traveled throughout the world for business and pleasure, including many trips to Israel. Following his retirement, Bobby became an active, loving Zayde to his treasured grandchildren Mia, Nessa, Ezra, Avi and Kai. He was so proud of his children Sari and Warren, and their spouses Adam and Camille.
Until the very end of his life, he never stopped learning, exploring and searching for new opportunities. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Bobby’s infectious sense of humor, devotion to family, and passion for life will be sorely missed by the many people who knew him and loved him. Funeral at 10 AM Thursday, Sparkman/Hillcrest, 7405 Northwest Hwy., Dallas. It can also be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7onyJbZDlU. A shiva minyan will be held at A-Loft Hotel, 1160 State St., Richardson, Thursday at 7:30 PM, with visitation from 2-5 PM.
