

Robert was born on May 12, 1978 in Dallas, TX at St Paul Hospital. His father, Roberto C. Hernandez, Sr. was born in Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico. His mother, Maria De Jesus Hernandez, was born in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico.He attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School from Kinder- 8th Grade and Thomas Jefferson and W.T. White for High School. He proudly earned his General Equivalence Diploma.He grew up in a large household with his parents, grandmother, four sisters, and one brother. He had many childhood friends that remained close throughout the years.He worked at the same company where his father had worked for 30+ years just one block away from his childhood home.Robert had many interests, he loved history and regularly watched History and Discovery channels. He knew so much about different topics. He loved anything related to boxing, the Texas Rangers, and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved spending time with family and especially his wife, Griselda Hernandez, and daughters, Victoria and Sofia Hernandez.
He loved music and some of his favorite songs include the Rocky Theme Song, The Power of Love from Back to The Future, November Rain from Guns N’ Roses, La Bamba, Donna, We Belong Together by Ritchie Valens, Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash, and Free Fallin’ by Tom Petty.
Robert was an active member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Grand Prairie, TX. He completed the RCIA program at St. Michael’s and was a member of Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) team 13 on January 25, 2014.Robert is survived by his wife, Griselda Hernandez, Daughters, Victoria and Sofia Hernandez. His mother, Maria De Jesus Hernandez, Paternal Grandmother, Maria De Jesus Cerrillo, Maternal Grandfather, Rodolfo Martinez, Sr., Sisters: Stephanie Gonzalez and husband, Leo Gonzalez, Jr., Martha Gloria and husband, Rose Gloria, Jr., Irene Silva and husband, Gabriel Silva, Diana Hernandez and husband, Patrick Hernandez. Brother: Alfonso “Fonzi” Hernandez and wife Claudia Lorena Hernandez. Mother-In-Law, Susana Parra Andrade, Sisters-In-Law: Susana Leamon and husband, Kenneth Leamon, Mirella Parra. Brother: Heriberto “Eddie” Parra and wife Mirta Parra. Many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.Predeceased by his father, Roberto C.
