

Rose Riseman, 88, of Dallas passed away at her residence on August 5, 2013. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to all that knew and loved her and she will be missed.
She was born in Brest, Poland on November 25, 1924 to Sam and Mary Appel Klein. She escaped Poland at the age of 15 and with her family moved to Montreal, Canada in 1939. She met her husband Saul Riseman in Dallas after WW II and soon after lived in Kansas City, KS where she and Saul raised their family. In 1977 she and her family moved to Dallas, TX until her death. Rose was a member of Congregation Shearith Israel.
Survivors include her 2 sons: Ronald Riseman and his wife Adrienne of Dallas, TX; William Riseman and his wife Nancy of Dallas, TX; 6 grandchildren, Stephen, Kenneth and Lauren Riseman, Julie Kern and her husband Joshua, Ryan and Rachel Riseman as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by one son Steven Edward Riseman in 1951 and husband Saul Riseman.
A Graveside Service will at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy., Dallas, TX. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Martin Cohen and his staff for the wonderful care they gave to Rose.
