Age 90, died in Dallas, Texas July 12, 2010 surrounded by his Family. Born January 31, 1920 in Diboll, Texas, the ninth child of ten children of Ross and Antoinette Interrante. He married the love of his life, Sindy Marie Todora on September 15, 1940. He was a World War II Veteran, serving in the Pacific Theatre with the 533rd EB & SR shipped to New Guinea on the Troop Carrier Ship “Cape Perpetua.” He operated Farm Boy Foods and Liquors for many years until he retired to his farm where he enjoyed his gardening and fishing. Preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and two sisters. Survived by wife, Sindy, daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Mike Garrett, son and daughter-in-law, Salvadore and Toni Marie, and son, Tony and a sister, Josephine Emmett together with grandchildren, Sindy Marie Interrante, Anthony Joseph Interrante, Kelly Garrett Abbott and Meredith Garrett Landin, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to acknowledge the special and loving care given by James, Patti and Arevia. Family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10 AM Fri, July 16, 2010 in the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Mausoleum. Recitation of the Rosary at 10:45 AM, followed immediately by the Funeral Mass with Rev. John Libone, celebrant. Entombment at Calvary Hill Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee or the American Lung Association.
