Rozetta Fay Nettles, 80, of Mesquite passed away Friday, May 31, 2019. She was born on August 13, 1938 in Chandler, Oklahoma. Rozetta graduated from Carney High School. She married Clyde Dewayne Nettles on April 22, 1954. First and foremost she was a homemaker and in later years she was employed at Dallas Athletic Club. She was a member of Oates Drive Baptist Church and had a passion for her family and for teaching, as well as a love for Christ and keeping a Christian home.
Rozetta is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Thresa and Gus Onvy Pritchard, Sr.; brother, Everett Pritchard; sisters, Hazel Pritchard Minshell, Almeda Pritchard Lee, Naomi Lee Pritchard Bell, and Phylis Pritchard Morris. Rozetta is survived by her husband of 65 years, Clyde Dewayne Nettles. She is also survived by sons, Mike Nettles and wife Debbie, Kevin Nettles and wife Jessica; grandchildren, Dr. Branden Nettles, Britnie Nettles, Tyler Fiorentino, Tate Harris, Tori Harris; brothers, Gus Pritchard and wife Sharon, Robert Pritchard and wife Polly; sister, Susie Marshall, and many nieces and nephews.
