

Rubert H. Fehmer, age 90, of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully on May 19, 2012. He was born May 14, 1922 in Westphalia, Texas to Ben and Mary (Beimer) Fehmer. Rubert proudly served in the US Army from 1943 to 1946 on tour in the Pacific Theatre and was a veteran of World War II. He worked as Chief Accountant and Treasurer of Dunn Bros., Inc. in Dallas until his retirement at age 70. Rubert was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He is survived by his daughter Mary Clear, sons Mark Fehmer and Paul Fehmer, grandsons James Clear and Ryan Clear, his brother Elo Fehmer and many nieces and nephews. Rubert was preceded in death by his former wife, Ida Bartosh Fehmer, his parents, four brothers and one sister.
Services will be held at St. Joseph Village at 1201 E Sandy Lake Rd, Coppell, Texas on Tuesday, May 22. Prayer of the Rosary will begin at 10:30am and a Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00am. Graveside services will be at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas at 1:30pm. Friends are welcome to join the family for visitation at Calvary Hill on Monday, May 21 from 7:00 to 8:00pm. The family asks for donations to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Dallas, Texas in lieu of flowers.
