He was born in Dallas, TX on September 15, 1944. He graduated from High School and joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a Sergeant. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War where he worked as a Fireman. After his service, he enjoyed and retired from a long career in Print Media Advertising.
Rudy was a talented artist and skilled craftsman. He enjoyed landscaping, playing the guitar and was a Martial Artist.
He was a member of the Sanctuary of Praise church in White Settlement and thanked Pastor Phillips for helping him transform his Christian faith and prepare his spirit for his final journey on Earth.
He is survived by his wife, Zada, 1 daughter, 2 Sons, 9 Step-children, 21 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, his older brother and wife Gloria.
Visitation will be 6 p.m.- 8 p.m., Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, December 31, 2018 at Laurel Land Funeral Home-Chapel.
Interment to follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
