

Ruth Virginia Beyer was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1925 and went to be with the Lord on Christmas day, December 25, 2020. Ruth married the love of her life, Paul Beyer shortly before the end of WWII in February of 1945. Following a stint living in New York and Chicago they settled in Dallas in 1952 with three children in tow.
Ruth was a devout Catholic and was an active member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church for many years. She was a member of the Altar Society, Women’s Guild, Catholic Daughters of America and the St. Dismass Circle. Ruth and Paul both spent their years of retirement volunteering at Ladies of Charity and worked tirelessly to enrich the lives of those less fortunate. They worked on the toy program every year at Christmas as well as putting together stockings for shut-ins and many other programs.
Ruth loved travelling and spending time with her many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her loving spouse, Paul Beyer and daughter Susan Beyer Freeman.
She is survived by children Paul Beyer (Jane), Janet DiPuccio (Frank), Tom Beyer (Cathy), Mary Beyer Wiseman (Robert) & Kathy Riggins as well as 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Ruth will be held on Wednesday, December 30 from 6-8pm at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home, with the Rosary being prayed at 7pm. Funeral Mass will follow the next day on Thursday the 31st at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church at 10am, with the Entombment following at 12pm at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas.
