Ruth Miles Boyle

Ruth Miles (Mimi), 94. The daughter of Lee & Stella Pippin Miles, was born in Pecos, Texas, February 3, 1922 & passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016. She lived in Greenville, Texas with her Mother and Father during her youthful years. She married James Lemuel Boyle on March 31, 1946. She worked for the Federal Reserve Bank for 20 plus years counting money in the basement. She then retired to be a stay-at-home Mother for their daughter, Katharine Elizabeth Boyle. She was ahead of her time when it came to fashion and sewing. She was an expert at sewing and her work was impeccable. Her love for animals both cats and dogs was known to everyone. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She was a member of the Lakewood United Methodist Church, and then the Owenwood United Methodist Church. She was a devoted member of the Methodist Women’s Society. Preceded in death by Mother; Stella Pippin Miles, Father; Lee Miles, her Husband; James Lemuel Boyle. Survived by Daughter, Katharine Boyle Wiseman, Granddaughter, Julia Elizabeth Wiseman Evans, Great Grandson, James Evans, & Son-In-Law Robert (Bob) DuBoise. Our beloved will lie in state for visitation from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas. Services will be held at the Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home Chapel in Dallas, Texas at 2:00 P.M., Sunday afternoon, August 21, 2016. Rev. Paul Gould, officiating. Reception from 3:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Dallas Athletic Club, Dallas, Texas. Graveside services conducted by her family at 12:00 P.M., Monday afternoon at the Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville, Texas.
