Mama Ruth, as she was affectionately known by her grand and great grand children, was a passionate fisherman who retired from Lancaster, Texas to Aransas Pass, Texas to fish. Her career was spent as a barber where she was well known and well loved, She adored her bird, Tooter, and doted on the local cats.
She is preceded in death by her only child, Rodney Dale Lee Cascio, Sr. She is survived by five grandchildren; Nickolle Leigh Cascio, Cinnamon Christine Cascio Johnson, Rodney Dale Lee Cascio, Jr., Brook Leyla Cascio and Blaire Cascio, three great- grandchildren; Blaine Inmon, Taylor Inmon and Connor Green and one great great- grandchild, Braven Inmon.
