

Sam was born in Amarillo, Texas on October 13, 1946. His family moved to Dallas when he was a toddler and Dallas became home for the remainder of his life. In 1963 Sam achieved one of his proudest moments when he became a certified Eagle Scout. Sam attended Schreiner Institute in Kerrville, Texas, and went on to graduate from Highland Park High School in 1965. Sam continued his studies at Southern Methodist University all while learning his father’s movie theatre business. Sam’s love for cars provided a long lasting career in the automobile business. Sam was preceded in death by his mother Jackie “Lilly” Hall and his father Charles William Weisenburg. Sam was also preceded in death by his brother in Law, Will Wills and niece Tracy Lee Wills. Sam leaves behind daughter Jennifer Weisenburg Kimberly, son in law Brian Kimberly and grandson William Wallace Kimberly, Daughter Meredith Weisenburg Perkins, grandson Chandler William Weisenburg, granddaughter Catherine Perkins, Sister Lugay Weisenburg Wills, nephews, Todd Wills, Robert Wills and Jeff Wills.
Sam valued and spoke often about his many lifelong friendships and his many “Bobo-isms” were enjoyed by all that heard them. For this, those left behind will be able to carry on and cherish special memories and great times.
